The Enabled Woman is a women’s support group that engages and empowers women to propel their families and communities towards prosperity. We do this by providing vital work opportunities and essential training in adire making to women in local communities after which they are employed to work which enables them to support their families.

Quarterly, we host an interactive hangout experience designed for women to share our thoughts and voices, draw on one another’s strength and compassion, and uplift and encourage each other. Led by Rosemary Akwashiki and OnokhifaUbah, it gives women the chance to explore a variety of topics, share stories, connect with ourselves and others, and bring life-changing tools and insights into our daily lives.

At each Hangout, the group delves into discussions, interacts in smaller groups via breakout rooms, and participates in large-group sharing and practices.
