Rosemary Akwashiki got her influence of garment making from her mum as young as when she was 6 years old. As a little girl, Rosemary often fiddled with her mums’ sewing machine and knitting machine to explore her budding talent. As she grew older, she tried to study fashion professionally but didn’t have the time until finally in the year 2014. Her first fashion training was at a vocational fashion school in Nigeria for 18 months where she studied pattern making, garment construction, and fashion design.

Rosemary is a purpose-driven entrepreneur who sees the need to contribute to the made in Nigeria brands with a global class within the fashion industry in Nigeria and beyond. Her mastery of accessorizing, styling and design gives her an edge in the millennial fashion space. As a woman who has had years in the corporate circles and evolved into a hands-on Mom running her Fashion Business, she combines real-life knowledge of practicality and elegance to dress the everyday woman with ease.

She is a business woman extraordinaire whose heart is for impacting lives positively by creating opportunities for others to excel too. “There is room enough at the top” is one of her favourite sayings and the structure of her businesses and affiliations reflect this. Mentoring young people particularly to develop a personal pathway and create a realistic yet ambitious way to make the journey is one of the ways she achieves this. She recently, co-founded ‘The Enabled Woman Hangout‘, a women’s support group that engages and empowers women to propel their families and communities towards prosperity.
